Joining
Being a genetic focused RPG, the joining process for Kynheim is a little different than in other wolf games. The overall step-by-step guide is quite similar, but before you draw your character and send in your application, we recommend you note the group for a genotype check first. Especially if you want to bring in relatives of existing characters, please make sure to check out their genotypes and create yours to fit the narrative.
Step 1:
Genotype + Design
There are two options to get a genotype for your character: creating one yourself or getting one from the admins via Discord chat. Adopted genotypes are automatically accepted.
For those who are more familiar with how genetics work, creating your own genotype can be a lot of fun! The downside to creating your own genetics are potential errors that we may ask you to fix before the design can be accepted.
Once you have your genotype set, you can continue to draw your character. We strongly recommend sending your design and planned genotype for preview via the #genetics-help channel on our discord server. If you have a pre-finished design but don't know what genotype they would be, said channel is the right place to ask as well!
Step 2:
Written Application
Once set and done with both genotype and design, it's time to get your application ready! Place your character's art on their pack's application sheet. Each pack has their own application with
the minimal required information in its description. Please include the minimum info in your submission's description as well, so people who don't use google docs can access the important
bits without leaving the site. You are welcome to link additional info via google docs though.
Reminder: We know Eclipse formatting sucks, but please keep the application's formatting neat and
tidy! If it's impossible to find what one is looking for, you may be asked to change the layout before your app can get accepted.

Rank: All characters start as Omega (Taiga/Valgard) or Untasked (Selcouth)
Task: All characters start without a task
Past Affiliation(s): Leave blank or write "none" if not applicable. NPC packs must be marked as such!
Family: NPCs may be listed as well, but must be marked as such
Personality: No minimum word count. We don't judge by length of the text but by how well the character is developed.

Step 3:
Sending a Join Request
Once you're done with both your written and drawn parts of the application, you're ready to send a join request to the group! The join request must contain a link to your application and your Discord name and ID, otherwise it will automatically be denied.
All you have to do now is wait for approval. If there's anything wrong with your application, a mod will contact you and ask you to iron out potential issues. Don't worry, it's no big deal if you get contacted about fixing a thing or two!
If you're already part of the group but want to submit a second character, just repeat step 1 + 2 until you're done with your application, then simply submit the application to the group gallery on deviantArt!
