Q: Is the group currently open?
To check the opening status, please check the most recent Monthly Update on our deviantArt group page [> journals].
Q: Do you have activity requirements?
Yes, to keep our small community active and our world alive, Kynheim requires 2 pieces of seasonal activity from every character or one plot-related piece per season per character. You don't have to cash in or note the group - admins will check off activity whenever a piece of art or literature is added to the deviantArt group gallery. Keep in mind that only scenic in-game art/lit is counted towards activity! For more detail, please view the Rules page.
Q: How long is each season in Kynheim?
Spring lasts from March - May
Summer from June - August
Autumn from September - November
Winter from December - February
Q: I want to bring in another character. At what stage in the process do I buy the character slot?
The first two characters are free of charge. If you have two or more characters, please send in your purchase note at the same time you submit your character to the deviantArt group gallery. Keep in mind all your characters have to be active in order to bring in a new one.
Q: Can I commission somone to do my character's application art?
Kynheim is a group mostly catered towards artists, so drawing your own character is strongly encouraged. However, if you're a beginner artist who wants to join but you don't feel comfortable with your art style yet, you may commission application art.
