- Taiga / Valgard Plot -

As winter settles upon Kynheim, the winds of change bring more than just the season’s first snow across the lands. The north grows weary with anticipation in their sudden isolation, and certain unrest amongst the packs can only brew discontent and irrational choices. These are lean times indeed.   

Taiga 

Lady Enya feels the brunt of the winter season settle deep within her bones, knowing in her heart that her age is catching up to her faster than she would have liked to admit. Taiga needs to prepare for a bleak winter, and while she is not quite ready to pass on her leadership just yet, both siblings agree that a little help may be needed in order to ensure Taiga’s strength and safety during these cold months. 

Enya and Nhoata’s youngest brother, Ruadh, has stepped up beside Lady Enya to become Lord of Taiga - the first second alpha alongside the sole ruler in generations. Ruadh is fully prepared to serve Taiga to the best of his abilities, and as their first decree as rulers together call all able-bodied Taigarians to help aid in the mystery of The Howlers’ disappearance. Enya and Ruadh both agree that it is more dangerous not knowing where these strangers suddenly disappeared off to than knowing, and have asked any Taigarian Delta or higher willing to venture out and find where they have gone. If they have a new claim to a new land, Taiga needs to know, especially if they are to start vying for resources that aren’t theirs during this lean winter season.

Valgard 

Meanwhile in Valgard’s new territory, despite the winter season bringing a frigid cold, things couldn’t have been more of a blessing to finally have a place called home. But life would not be realistic if it did not change constantly, for no sooner did Valgard get settled into their new territory did suspicious neighbors come sniffing about a little too close to the new territory borders. The patrols reek of Taiga, a scent some Valgardians know all too well. What do they want? Are they here to try and take their resources? Are they here to try and challenge them for the right to their new land? Tread carefully, for some of these wolves mean business. Do you observe in the shadows and wait until they pass before reporting back to Feykir? Or do you defend your border and chase them off?

OOC Info 

➤ Participation in the Event earns +1 Fang bonus to every submission. 

➤ Taigarians can travel in pairs or solo to try and find Valgard’s new territory. You may also come in contact with a Valgardian border patrol!

➤ Will your wolf be cordial with these border interactions, or will your wolf be hostile? All interactions are welcome and encouraged during this chapter! Taigarians are expected to report back to Ruadh and Enya their findings, while Valgard is encouraged to report back to Feykir that Taiga is poking its nose where it doesn’t belong.

➤ This plot ends January 31st 2023 and will lead into the next chapter, so get your butts into gear 8)
