Special Mentions

Wels Catfish

Habitat: Large, slow moving Rivers and Lakes

Size: 6-9 ft / 1,8 - 2,8 m

The Wels Catfish is the largest known fish species in Kynheim. Unlike the Alligator Gar (see below) they don't have teeth and therefore wouldn't seem very dangerous at first glance. However, due to their sheer size and their eating habits of gulping down everything that fits into their mouth, they can potentially drag unsuspecting wolves underwater and even swallow smaller pups that linger in the shallows whole.

Alligator Gar

Habitat: Swamp [ I1-K1 ]

Size: 5-8 ft / 1,5 - 2,4 m

This fish is known for its ferocious nature and ambush hunting. The Alligator Gar usually hunts other fish, but doesn't shy away from birds and even careless land animals that venture into their waters unprepared.
